Spring is right around the corner and Spring is a big time for trade shows. How do you present effectively to noisy crowds of people as they hurry from one exhibit to the next?
If you’re presenting one-on-one:
- Try taking the person deeper into the booth, out of the way of traffic
- Since time is limited, determine the person’s main interests. Target your presentation, instead of giving a “canned” features and benefits speech.
If you’re presenting to a group:
- Keepthe presentation short
- Try to get them out of the traffic and into chairs. They’re tired and would love the chance to sit.
- If at all possible, let them get their hands on the product or demo
Remember, at any trade show, the majority of people are just looking. Try and focus on those few leads or prospects that will get results rather than try to cover everyone.
